Welcome to First Grade! 

My name is Ms. Espaillat and I am pleased to be your First Grade Teacher! I am looking forward to teaching you to read, write and become a successful student. I started my career as an Intervention Teacher and now I am very lucky to be teaching first grade.

I graduated from Kean University and studied a dual major in Elementary Education and Sociology. I continued my education and received a Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I look forward to passing my passion for teaching on to you.
