Meet the Teacher
Hello, my name is Melissa Kozlowski and I have been teaching in Perth Amboy Public Schools since 2007. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kean University.
I began working with children early on as a youth babysitting, later on as swim instructor at the YMCA, then a preschool teacher from 2005-2018/19, and now I have been a second grade English teacher in the Rose M. Lopez school since 2019. working with children has been my life’s joy. Then to have such amazing colleagues and a community that strongly supports our children and values early education, makes me truly privileged.
I have learned so much working with children and will always apply myself to make a difference in my student’s lives. I have a personal sense of fulfillment as a teacher, in building our kids confidence, independence, knowledge, and skills all of which will help them succeed in life.
